Throughout the years Kyle has seen, handled and shipped more kinds of freight than most of us can think of. Not only was he "raised" at SFI, but he started his career off on the dock loading and unloading trucks, spent a few years in our CFS department, years in our dispatch department, and expanded the SFI business by starting a brokerage division, Southwest Freight Logistics, in 2011.  Now, he is following in his father's and grandfather's foot steps as President of Southwest Freight. This third generation President and avid Dallas Cowboys fan intends to lead the companies to even more growth and success as we move confidently into the future.  Kyle is focused on strategizing with his VP's to expand our operations, increase our fleet, and continue to offer our customers the service and commitment they have become accustomed to.

Alan really is MR. SAN ANTONIO. He also oversees operations in Houston & New Orleans. Though he has family in Ohio and is still a Browns fan, he planted his roots in Texas in 1981.  He is still very hands on in all aspects of operations in San Antonio, Houston & New Orleans. Visiting with US Customs about CES situations, managing our container yards & truck shops and working closely with the railroad, assisting them with their weekly needs.  Southwest Freight Inc represents the railroad when loads have shifted or special requirements are needed.  Alan is first to assess the situation.  He has been a part of the SFI team for over 35 years.  If you have a question or concern about San Antonio, Houston or New Orleans, Alan is the man with the answer. 

Mrs. Connie Kirbow, formerly known in the Houston Transportation world as Connie Hickman, brings a truly bigger than Texas personality and enthusiasm to our team.  After leading SFI in sales back in the 90’s, she briefly redirected her efforts to the domestic transportation world, doing LTL sales. She returned to our team in 2012 as VP of Sales and Administration.  She prides herself on building strong relationships, caring about our team and customers, and never losing touch of how important they both are.  Connie makes a point to personally visit and strategize with customers locally and across country, synergizing all departments within SFI and SFL to execute smart business solutions to accommodate all our customers' unique needs. Born and raised right here in Houston, a mother of an Aggie and a soon to be Hog, she knows this city and all that it has to offer. She plans on staying in front of our customers and building our team.
